Listing Description
1974 Dodge Challenger. No rust, except some minor surface rust in the trunk. Metallic Gray paint looks good. It has a built 400 engine and a 4-speed. Someone tried to fake the funk and put '383 Magnum' logos on the hood. In fact, it was sold to me as such. Then after getting it home, checking the numbers on the block, I found it was a 400 made in 1974, which would make it less powerful than a 383 IF it were stock. It is obviously not stock, but the last owner knew very little about the car and engine so I don't know what has been done. It has flowmaster super 44 mufflers and is loud. This car is fast and mean. It will smoke the tires as long as you hold down the throttle. I have not tested the limits and have not had it at top speed. Drives smooth, can be a daily driver, but could also be restored to show quality fairly easy. Good tires with lots of tread (almost new) and wheels, air shocks. I put a different console in because I never liked the Mopar consoles, but I do have the original which will go with the car. Lights work, windshield wipers work, radio with good speakers work. Heater and AC not working now, but everything is there as it was an original AC car. All glass is good and windows roll up just fine. Interior has been redone recently and there are no blemishes.Doors: 2
