1966 Dodge D100This was a military vehicle that came from Israel that ended up in the Tama Iowa reservationWheelbase - 133 in (3,378 mm) (regular cab 9 ft (2.7 m) Utiline bed)Original Engine - 225 cu in Chrysler Slant 6The D series were made both for the civilian market and for the Israeli armyThis vehicle has now been highly modified. Many changed were made to engine, suspension and interior. This caused almost everything that need to be modified. PaintHad been painted white with a brush. The military green was under this coat of white.Vehicle was painted Viper Blue by Steve Suchomel. Many hours of body work were needed to get this vehicle to the point it is today. A donor vehicle was purchased due to bad cab and body damage, but it was in roughly the same shape. We discovered the issues are prone to this model. EngineOriginal 2.6 Slant sixReplaced with a 360 4 speed. Engine/trans were rebuilt by Brian Gade of Clarence. It has a mild cam improvement. This engine is known as the boss of the small block Chrysler engines. Family is LA.This engine came out of a 1971 Dodge D300. Very low miles with manual 4 speed. Notables:
