1983 Ferrari 308 GTB Quattrovalvole, finished in stunning Bianco (white) exterior and Negro (black) leather interior. Penned by Pininfarina\'s Leonardo Fioravant it is recognized as one of the purest mid-engine Ferrari designs. This two owner GT Berlinetta was purchased new in Dallas and owned for 31 years until the current owner purchased it in 2014. It has been driven sparingly by the second owner, now showing just over 30,000 miles and has recently received extensive service and refresh by a Ferrari specialist in preparation for sale. This Ferrari runs and drives perfectly. It starts right up, shifts smoothly through the gated five speed transmission; the Quattrovalvole (4-valve per cylinder) 3.0 liter Twin Cam V8 engine pulls strong and makes glorious sounds doing it. The four wheel disk brakes are confidence inspiring and the race car inspired mid-engine chassis and suspension design makes this one of the best handling cars of its day. The 308/328 series sports cars, with their transverse mounted engines are free of interference from electronics sensors and overrides. These are the last of the analog Ferraris, driver’s cars that are considered among the most reliable and easiest to work on that the company has ever offered, before or since.
