1988 Jeep Cherokee

1988 Jeep Cherokee Wagoneer Limited aka “Baby Wagoneer”. These were the top of the line Cherokees, with the distinctive Stacked headlights. I believe it has every option except the sun roof (they always leaked anyway) and factory fog lamps. 1 repaint, not show quality, but sharp daily. 143,000 miles. 4.0 Inline 6 with throttle body Automatic trans w/overdrive switch 4 x 4 works as should Power: steering, brakes, windows, locks, seats (both work), mirrors. Automatic Headlight shut off, tilt, cruise , A/C Blows cold GOOD PARTS- Runs out nice, tracks well, shifts where it should Tires probably 60% All woodgrain intact New($900): calipers, pads, wheel cylinders, Master Cylinder, brake lines, Serpentine belt, battery, Liftgate struts. BAD PARTS- Has a few electrical quirks. Radio bypassed ignition, driver window lift is inconsistent Door locks are not reliable, cruise not working Headliner removed. Driver seats has leather “splits” One rust spot under pass floorboard. Looks like someone put a “lift” on the floor instead of frame rail. Not rusted through , but “soft”. Rockers and door bottoms perfect. OVERALL- This is a 34 year old Jeep. These Baby Wagoneers are hard to find.
