1982 Jeep J-10

1982 jeep J10 pickup truck. This is a great and rather rare truck. I feel if it was someone’s only project, they could make it that much better. I say project because you can see from the pics what it is and is not although it’s a daily driver and not an actual PROJECT. Title is clean, straight six automatic, as the motor has been changed not sure of actual mileage. 4 wheel drive transfer case ect is all there and when the 4wD was used years ago everything worked fine. Tires are good as only a year or so old. Motor does NOT over heat, lights tach speedo, rollbar lights, wipers, stereo work front end steering was all replaced rebuilt about three years ago. New brakes last summer. This truck was not off roaded by us at all It is a big little fun truck and it is not overwhelming to drive. Truck needs some attention. Motor has a very common valve tap..has had the same sound since we have had the truck, has some rust on panels, truck has been sprayed with a textured paint prior to us owning it so the rust repair would need to match that. Pretty sure it needs adjustment with carb and or transmission as shifting occasionally feels stiff, door locks work but need to hold button. Engine bay and under dash could use some electrical cleanup. Nothing needs to be rewired to use and drive truck however there is a lot of loose ends and such that were there prior to us owning it. Please do some research and understanding that this is a rare and different truck…it is not pristine, the parts are hard to come by that’s is what makes it cool.
