1951 Kaiser Vagabond
Vehicle Details
Listing Description
This is a 1951 Kaiser Vagabond VERY rare car. This is a 5-door sedan where the left rear door does not open by design as its where the spare tire is designed to fit for utility purposes. The car has been nicely restored with the only modification being a Chevrolet 350 V8 power plant is in place of the original Kaiser engine for long-distance trips etc. Take a good look at this very rare car. The rear \'trunk\' actually opens down like a truck tailgate for utility value. There is an upper \'hatch\' that also opens \'UP\' for maximum cargo hauling etc. The original wood has been nicely restored. Interior vinyl seats have been replaced. There is a rear seat that folds down for more space (as depicted). Brand new Coker Wide Whitewall Tires and 4 wire wheels have been added to dress this car up a bit more. AC works and is ice-cold. The automatic transmission has lost sole fluid from sitting generally from the torque convertor. When topped off it works fine with no obvious leaks during operation. The paint on this car is a strong 8 out of 10 for quality. No known rust for this TN car. This is one of the owner\'s favored old cars. When is the last time you saw one of these that is THIS nice?
