1954 Mercury Monterey Convertible with a new chrome Edelbrock Electric choke carburetor is teamed with a polished Mumert intake manifold. A Pertronix Electronic ignition system with Flame Thrower Coil was installed. Owner wired 6 Optima 6v batteries in parallel to produce 6.5v and lots of amps for starting power. A Genius trickle over night charger tops up the battery daily and for the off season. The Genius Charging system works well. A new large Aluminum BeCool radiator keeps everything balanced. New Diamond Back Radial wide white wall tires were added less than 100 miles ago :Rear 235/75R/15 - Front 215/75R/15 This car drives as if it were on rails. It drives and stops straight and smooth. Never in snow & not smoked in. It can be used as a trophy grabbing show car or an every day driver. This is a no-smoke car and has always been stored in heat controlled garages; has never experienced snow.
