1962 Mercury Monterey

1962 Mercury Monterey to pursue a business opportunity. This car is not a Barret Jackson quality show car but has the potential to be a nice cruiser. Car has been mostly restored but was not a frame off so the frame and most of the suspension is untouched. Paint is a couple years old and isn’t perfect but you have to inspect pretty close to tell. Some of the chrome trim has some pitting and the hood badge is missing. Car is mostly rust free but does have some cancer near the front of the cab. Motor was replaced recently with a freshly rebuilt v8 that I believe is a 351. I just swapped in a 3 speed automatic transmission as the old one had a leaking front pump but I will include the old transmission as well. Interior is mediocre and has more modern cloth bucket seats up front but I do have the original front bench seat if you wanted to have it reupholstered. Tires and wheels are brand new. Also has new fuel tank. Car was running and driving before I swapped the transmission so I can send you video of it driving if you’d like.
