Listing Description

Here we have a quite rare 1954 Packard Pacific which was one of the top of line models that year and the last of the big and glorious straight eight engine! The 359ci straight eight in this car came factory with an aluminum head, a 4 barrel carburetor, and 212 HP. This particular car was a demonstration/display car in Deland, FL at the Packard dealership there (building is still there in the town). After it closed, the car remained in the hands of a local family where it was cared for many years. After their passing, the car was handed to a close friend of that family who decided to have the car professionally repainted in 1993. The car has ONLY been used for special occasions and car shows since it was new. It now has only 40,000 original miles and drives as good today as when it was new! It\'s truly a wonderful survivor original car. Details/Features: 359ci 8 Cylinder Engine (4 BBL 212 HP) - Ultra-Matic Transmission (Fully Automatic) - Factory Power Steering - Factory Power Brakes - Factory Power Seat - Wide White Wall Tires - Factory Wire Wheels - Fender Skirts - Beautiful original upholstery, dash, and steering wheel! - Beautiful original car inside and out! - Clean and tidy engine and trunk compartments The original straight eight engine runs smooth, quiet, and makes great power. The transmission also shifts well at all speeds. Overall, the car runs and drives excellent and is easy to drive. It handles very well and takes little to no effort to steer and stop. All factory gauges are working (including the gas gauge). The clock and radio appear to be non-op at the moment. Power seat also works great and the windshield wipers are also operational. The car drives as smooth as anything else on the road! Very quiet. No squeaks or rattles. Drives like you would expect a low mileage car to drive. The factory 6 volt system works fine and the car does not have any issues with overheating. Just serviced and checked. Overall, it is ready to drive.Doors: 2
