1944 White COE

The COE has been put on a 1952 Seagrave Fire Truck chassis, and it has been retrofitted with a 1993 Bluebird Cummins 5.9 motor, trans, (power) steering box, and (power) brake ass\'y. This has been professionally installed to the 1952 drum brakes and steering. The gear ratio is 7:20 and the truck tops out at 42 MPH. The gear is so low because the Fire Truck was a \'pumper\' and carried tons of water - that is why the gear ratio is the way it is. The truck is roadworthy he has driven it for the last few years and the truck runs and drives good.
