Pappi's Garage

Pappi's Garage is a classic car emporium in historic downtown Tupelo, Mississippi, at 209 Commerce Street. Public listings name Joe Estess as its president. The business buys, sells and takes cars on consignment, and it pairs its showroom with a service area and a gift shop.

The showroom

Directory and business listings describe a showroom of more than 30 classic, antique and exotic cars. There is also a maintenance and repair area, a gift shop, and a kitchen and patio where the garage holds events such as cruise-ins and club meets. A local newspaper has reported on a charity cruise-in hosted by the garage. The founding year is not stated in the sources we could open, so we do not give one.

What it sells

Recent online listings have included a 1968 Corvette and a 1950 Packard woody wagon, which gives a sense of the range from American muscle to prewar and postwar classics. Inventory turns over, so confirm what is on the floor before you visit. You can also browse more classic cars in Mississippi on Classic Cars Arena.

Buying from Pappi's Garage

Pappi's sells cars outright from its own stock and also lists cars for owners. Terms such as deposits, financing and shipping are not published in the sources we could verify, so ask directly. A written bill of sale, a clear title and an independent inspection are sensible for any classic purchase. Ask for service records and any restoration paperwork, and get every promise about condition in writing.

Because the garage also runs a service and repair area, buyers may be able to ask about mechanical work on a car they are considering. The sources we found do not spell out what service is offered on cars sold from the showroom, so raise it early in the conversation.

Consigning with Pappi's

According to its business listing, Pappi's can either buy a vehicle or list it on consignment. For consigned cars it says it offers optional mechanical preparation and detailing, plus advertising on its website, affiliate pages and social media. Commission rates are not published. Reputation

We could not open a Better Business Bureau page or verify a star rating with a review count for Pappi's Garage, so we do not quote one. The business has an active Facebook page and appears in the AllCollectorCars dealer directory, which suggests it is operating. Check recent reviews before committing to a purchase or consignment.
