For sale is a 1986 Toyota Pickup Xtra Cab Long Bed, 2WD (4x2) in excellent, highly original condition. This is a genuine fourth-generation Toyota pickup and an increasingly difficult truck to find in this condition. This truck is essentially a 40-year-old time capsule from the mid-1980s.

It has been exceptionally well cared for and retains its original paint, original interior, original wheels come with it, and many of its original features. ⭐ Highlights * 1986 Toyota Pickup Xtra Cab Long Bed * 2WD / 4x2 * 163,700 original miles * Legendary 22R 2.4L 4-cylinder engine * 5-speed manual transmission * Original California truck * Clean California title * Current California smog * Original factory paint * Original dealer-applied California pinstripe package * Factory chrome bumper and chrome grille trim package * Custom SnugTop fiberglass camper shell * No rust — body, doors, fenders, wheel wells, floorboards and undercarriage are exceptionally clean * No accidents or body damage * Original wheels with stock-size tires, all with good tread * All glass is excellent with no chips or cracks * Professionally installed Alpine Bluetooth stereo 🛠️ Mechanical Condition The legendary 22R engine starts right up and runs extremely smoothly. No engine or transmission leaks and no unusual noises. Recent maintenance includes: * New belts * New hoses * Oil change * New filters The radiator is in excellent condition with no visible corrosion or signs of leaking.

The 5-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly, and the clutch operates as it should. Brakes are good, tires are good, and the truck drives and handles very smoothly. Honestly, I would not hesitate to drive this truck across the country. 🚙 Body & Interior The body is exceptionally straight with no rust and no accident damage.

The doors open and close smoothly and line up perfectly. The tailgate operates like new. The original paint is still on the truck and presents very well for its age. There are some minor blemishes and a couple of areas where the clear coat has slightly peeled, so please look carefully at the photos.

The interior remains remarkably original. The seats are in original condition and currently have custom seat covers. The truck spent most of its life indoors, which is reflected in its exceptionally clean condition. 🏕️ SnugTop Camper Shell The truck comes with a custom SnugTop fiberglass camper shell.

Interestingly, this particular truck was used as a display vehicle at a SnugTop camper shell retail store for many years. ❄️ One Exception The air conditioning does not work. The truck is priced accordingly with the A/C inoperative. Other than that, everything functions as it should and the truck is ready to drive and enjoy. 📋 Additional Information This is a senior-driven, well-maintained California truck with low original mileage and an unusually clean, rust-free body.

It is getting increasingly difficult to find fourth-generation Toyota pickups that have remained this original and well preserved. This truck is a real head-turner, and I am constantly asked about it when driving or displaying it. With proper maintenance and care, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this truck still on the road another 40 years from now.
