1991 Cadillac Sedan DeVille in two tone Light Antelope Firemist Metallic paint with pewter lower cladding color. You’re looking at a car owned by one family (father, then son) since it was bought brand new at Carter Cadillac in Calgary that is still wearing its factory original paint! Just a modest 126,000 kms and a well taken car of car it’s whole life. The previous owner shared that the car was not winter driven and never spent time outdoors, always stored in a heated garage.
The original paint is still in excellent condition with only a couple very minor flaws and scratches. A polish will be instore here at Rod’s that should take care of most of them. This car was a true luxury ride not meant for blistering speed or sporty handling, but one meant to provide a solid quiet and soft ride in a luxurious and stately and comfortable cabin! Under the hood is a 200 hp 4.9-liter V8 with multi-port fuel injection, running through a 4-speed automatic transmission powering the front wheels.
It runs exceptionally well and the engine bay is clean as a whistle. There’s also no shortage of luxury items and features. The interior is finished in color matching Antelope Firemist leather with deep pile carpets and lots of wood trim.
Power windows, power locks, dual power front seats, automatic digital climate control (with ice cold A/C), tilt wheel, cruise control, digital fuel data center with driving range and fuel economy read outs, rear seat heater ducts and “Symphony Sound” AM/FM track-seeking Cassette player with graphic equalizer, are just some of the luxury items! This was also one of the first cars of the era to be factory equipped with a “chipped” security key, and keyless entry fobs for power door lock/unlock and trunk pop. The car has also never been smoked in, and the entire owner’s manual collection is still in its factory leather case tucked into the glove box. After a recent professionally detailing, the carpets are rich, thick and exceptionally clean along with the factory carpet floor mats.
The rear seat has loads of leg room and very comfy over-stuffed leather seats with center armrest. A driver’s airbag and rear seat 3-point shoulder seatbelts were cutting edge safety equipment in 1991. The trunk features wall to wall carpeting and looks like it’s never carried anything.
Under the trunk mat is the original spare, which has never been used, along with the jack and tire iron. There’s also a lot of sound deadening material – proof that Cadillac was serious when it came to making the car quiet as a cathedral. The car has very few flaws, however it should be noted that the rear power antenna is not currently working, the windshield is cracked, and we’re sourcing a new driver’s side headlight housing, as it took a rock and cracked.
All items that are easy to fix. The alloy wheels have not touched a curb and are in perfect condition and of course, its still wearing white wall tires. If you’re looking for a beautiful ride in a unique color, this one has to be on your list!

Classic Cadillac DeVille Buyer's Guide
The Cadillac DeVille was the foundation of post-war American luxury motoring: Cadillac's high-volume luxury sedan from 1959 through 2005, spanning forty-six years and multiple distinct platform generations. Across this remarkable production run, the DeVille defined what mainstream American luxury looked like: dramatic styling, V8 power, full-size proportions, and the option list that established the Cadillac standard. From the iconic 1959 dual-tail-fin cars (the apex of late-1950s American automotive extravagance), through the Mark VI big-block era (1968-1976 with the legendary 472 and 500 V8s), the downsized 1977-1984 cars, and the front-wheel-drive 1985-2005 modern era, every DeVille generation has its own buyer profile and its own collector trajectory. From a concours judging perspective, documented examples consistently outperform the broader Cadillac market when properly verified.
