Description
1962 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Post Coupe – 283 V8 – 3-Speed Manual – Nostalgia Race Car Very cool 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door post coupe with genuine 1960s–70s street-racing history and plenty of period nostalgia. Originally built for big-power street racing, it now runs a 283 Chevy small-block V8 with a 3-speed manual transmission mounted on the floor and a Ford 9-inch rear end. Hoosier slicks complete the look.
Recently pulled from long-term storage and made roadworthy with a new fuel system, including a new gas tank. Recent work also includes a new starter and aluminum radiator. Headlights, driving lights, turn signals, brake lights, and wipers are all working.
Finished in white with a black interior, the car has nice shiny paint and a very solid body, frame, and undercarriage. A great piece of nostalgia with real street-racing character.

Classic Chevrolet Bel Air Buyer's Guide
The Chevrolet Bel Air ran from 1950 through 1975 across five distinct generations, but for collectors, the name means one thing above all: the 1955-1957 Tri-Five era. Those three model years define the most iconic Chevrolet body shape ever produced and represent one of the most active segments in the entire classic car market. Whether you're hunting a 1957 fuel-injected convertible, a clean 1955 hardtop, or a survivor 1953-1954 Bel Air with the original Blue Flame six, knowing what separates a documented original from a Chevy 210 dressed up with Bel Air trim is the difference between an honest investment and an expensive lesson.
