Description
1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo – Factory Big Block This 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a one-family-owned original classic, owned by the same family for approximately 30 years and retaining its authentic character. Finished in a rare and striking Triple Gold color combination—Champagne Gold exterior, original gold interior, and gold top—this Monte Carlo stands out as a highly distinctive survivor. Power comes from a 402ci big-block V8 rated at 330 HP, paired with a Turbo Hydra-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear end.
The car remains largely stock, preserving its originality and collector appeal. Features include bucket seats with center console and floor shifter, factory A/C (not currently blowing cold), power steering, power front disc brakes, factory Rally wheels, and Milestar radial tires. Chrome, trim, and glass are all in good condition.
An aftermarket retro-style Bluetooth radio has been added, and the fuel gauge is currently inoperative. An original, well-preserved Monte Carlo with rare colors and long-term family ownership—an excellent example of Chevrolet’s classic personal luxury coupe.

Classic Chevrolet Monte Carlo Buyer's Guide
The Chevrolet Monte Carlo ran from 1970 through 1988 and made its collector case in two very different ways. The 1970–1972 first-generation cars are legitimate muscle-era machines — personal luxury coupes built on the Chevelle platform with engine options that climbed to the 454 LS6. The 1983–1988 Aero coupes are NASCAR-influenced collector pieces built to racing homologation rules. Between those two peaks are the middle-generation cars: comfortable, affordable classics with a strong styling identity. The first-gen SS454 is one of the most undervalued muscle cars in the market right now — and that window is not staying open much longer.
