Description
1988 Chevrolet S10 Clean Title. This truck is a tire slayer, by installing a LS3 into this, was able to create a light and fast mini truck. Truck comes with long tube headers and a 4L80e transmission with TCI transmission controller (together worth ($18,000).
It has been wired for NOS (never used) injected at the Holly Sniper intake manifold. The bottle rests safely in the bed of the truck underneath the tonnaeu cover. The interior has been customized with everything fresh and new, custom door panels, new carpet, crackless dash, comfortable sport seats, and a touch screen head unit w/ Bluetooth.
New AC/Heat systems with a Vintage air gen II unit installed under the dash for ice cold A/C and great heating ($3000). The suspension has been overhauled to put the power to the ground, I installed ride tech air bag suspension all the way around ($6000). The suspension in the rear has been upgraded to a stout 4 link setup with Ford 9' with Posi-track and the front suspension has had lower and upper control arms for full adjustment.
UPDATE: 'Air bag suspension was removed it has coil overs now Airbag system included with sale' The truck does have disc brakes all the way around, the front is Wilwood calipers and slotted rotors to better stop the amazing chrome Foose wheels on this thing. The exterior is a color changing purple to blue wrap covering the original blue paint. LED lights everywhere (LED headlights, brake lights etc) Everything installed on this truck was brand new in box parts.
The truck is a blast to drive. The end photos are of the truck in prep process of paint. Chevrolet S10 Buyer's Guide
Robert Halloran here. The S10 is an interesting case study in how the classic market evolves. Ten years ago, these were cheap used trucks. Five years ago, they were cheap used trucks with a growing fan base. Today, clean S10s — especially the early examples and the performance variants — are crossing $10,000 for the first time, and the trend is accelerating. The people who bought nice S10s three years ago made smart investments.
The S10 ran from 1982 through 2004, making it one of the longest-lived compact truck platforms in American history. It spawned the GMC S15, the Blazer/Jimmy mini-SUV, and established a template for compact truck performance that competitors spent years trying to match. The lowrider and mini-truck scenes adopted it early, and its heritage in those cultures is now part of its collector appeal.
