CT Auto Classics

CT Auto Classics is a used classic car dealership at 333 Quarry Road in Milford, Connecticut. The business says it grew out of CT Auto Inc., a used car dealer that it describes as more than 14 years old, and that the classic car side was founded on the vision of its owner, who is identified on the site only as Nate. It describes itself as a full-service used classic car dealer working out of a warehouse showroom.

How the business works

CT Auto Classics sells cars it stocks itself. We found no mention of consignment or brokering for outside owners, so buyers should assume they are dealing with the dealership as the seller. The site says it also buys classic cars and accepts trade-ins, which makes it a possible stop for owners who want to sell outright rather than list a car privately.

What it sells

The inventory is broad rather than focused on one marque. The site groups cars into exotic, vintage, luxury, sports and European classics, plus SUVs and trucks. Cars shown on its pages have included a Cadillac Series 62, a Chevrolet Chevelle SS, a Chevrolet Camaro, a Pontiac GTO, a Ford Mustang and a Porsche 911, along with newer enthusiast cars such as a Mazda Miata, a Nissan GT-R and a Toyota Land Cruiser. Inventory turns over, and the site does not state how many cars are on hand at a given time.

Buying from CT Auto Classics

The dealer lists several services for buyers: financing through banks and lending institutions it works with, including options for buyers with weaker credit; delivery and shipping assistance; vehicle inspection and maintenance; and extended service contracts and warranties. These are the dealer's own descriptions, and the terms of any financing or warranty should be read in full before signing. Whatever the seller, it pays to confirm title status, ask for service records and think about an independent inspection. Our guide to what to check before you buy lists the main points.

Reputation

The dealer's website shows a small number of customer testimonials praising the condition and price of its cars and the service received. These are selected by the business and are not independent. We did not find a BBB profile for CT Auto Classics, and we did not find review counts on Google, Yelp or Facebook that we could verify, so no star rating is given. Treat the dealership like any other seller: look at the specific car and get everything in writing.
