Ellingson Motorcars

Ellingson Motorcars is a classic car dealership and consignment house in Rogers, Minnesota, just off Interstate 94 about 30 miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis. It is owned by Scott Ellingson. Local TV coverage describes a business that began as a museum for his father's car collection and became a dealership after his father's death, and a FOX 9 report from December 2025 put its history at more than 30 years. In the FOX 9 interview Scott Ellingson said the shop likes the unusual cars and the orphan makes. The owner also said past inventory has included a Rolls-Royce once owned by Barry Manilow and a Mustang once owned by Conway Twitty.

Ellingson is also an official Morgan dealer, operating as Morgan Minnesota. Its site lists the Plus Four, Super 3 and Supersport and says the team can handle new Morgan sales, ordering, service and parts.

Scott Ellingson told FOX 9 that every car that comes in has to run, drive and stop before further work is done, and that this is the first step of the shop's inspection. Beyond that, treat each car individually. According to its website, the company offers:

• In-house service for mechanical work and cosmetic refinishing, including on cars bought elsewhere.

Other review sites give mixed scores. In search results at the time of research, Birdeye showed 4.3 stars from 554 reviews, TripAdvisor 3.6 from 19 and Yelp 2.8 from 12, so ratings vary by platform.
