It has a pressure valve for its shifting. In order to move the car the push button has to be in 'first' then as the car gains momenthum; you have to push in 'second' then youb can push in the 'third' button. I'm told that this setup is also reversed from the normal 'up' push buttons.

The sequence is 'down'. This setup is used for 'drag' racing; so as to not miss a shift. Let me explain further. Normally a stock shifting pattern is to just push in 'drive' and the car as it gains speed automatically will shift from 'first' thru 'second' and then into 'drive' or 'third'.

Mine doesn't do this. Futher; if you wanted to 'shift' by using the push buttons on a normal car the sequence is 'from the bottom up' then if you should 'miss' 'drive' you could possibly go into 'neutral' or worse yet 'reverse'. This 'pressure valve 'reverses' the sequence; so you can't 'miss' a shift into 'third'.
