Old Guys Restorations

Old Guys Restorations is a young Tucson restoration shop. According to its own website, it opened in June 2024 and was started by people who previously worked at R & R Restorations, bringing more than ten years of restoration experience to the new business.

Who they are

The shop is at 5450 S Arcadia Ave, Suite 140, Tucson, Arizona. The site refers to "my team" and reads as an owner-led operation, but it does not name the owner. Because the business is only a couple of years old, there is little independent history to check, and customers may want to ask to see finished work from the team's earlier years.

What they restore

The site describes classic and vintage automobile restoration without limiting itself to particular marques or eras. It mentions comprehensive restoration work and does not publish a list of makes it prefers.

The work done in house

• Engine rebuilding: listed as a service on the site.
• Bodywork: body repair as part of restoration.
• Custom paint: paint jobs are listed.

The site does not say whether upholstery is done on site, and it does not describe frame-off or rotisserie methods.

Projects and awards

No specific projects or awards are detailed on the site. It mentions a connection to SEMA and a number of industry brands, but that is an affiliation claim, not an award.

Working with the shop

This is where the shop publishes the most. It says it assesses each vehicle and builds a detailed restoration plan, gives regular updates, and sends clients Google photo albums that track progress. Customers are welcome to visit the workshop, and the shop commits to responding within 24 hours. Those are the shop's own statements. The site also notes that operations end at 1 PM on days over 100 degrees. For a general checklist, see picking the right shop.

Reputation and contact

We did not view a review page with a verifiable rating, so none is quoted. The shop is at 5450 S Arcadia Ave Ste 140, Tucson, AZ, phone (520) 373-4796. The site does not give a zip code.
