RJ Cars Inc
Arkport shop restoring Mopar and other muscle cars, with rotisserie restorations and a project waitlist into 2027.
About RJ Cars Inc
RJ Cars Inc is a restoration shop in Arkport, in New York's Southern Tier, with a strong record on Mopar muscle cars. The shop works on classic, vintage and muscle cars, trucks and some unusual projects. This profile reflects the shop's own site and is independent of Classic Cars Arena.
Who they are
The site identifies Russell Jacobs as the shop's owner and operator. A founding year appeared only in a search result and not on the shop's site, so we do not state one. At the time of our review the site said the shop was booking projects for 2027 and beyond, which suggests a long waiting list.
What they restore
The portfolio is led by Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars, and it also includes Chevrolet, Ford, Shelby and Jeep vehicles. Listed projects include a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, a 1933 Dodge hot rod and a 1917 Locomobile. Antique vehicles from the 1930s to the 1960s, convertibles and trucks are also part of the mix.
Work done in-house
- Rotisserie restorations
- Bodywork, plus some collision repair
- Custom painting
- Engine and drivetrain work
- Interior and component restoration

The shop says it posts progress photos online, welcomes customer visits and discusses decisions openly with owners. Rates, estimates and deposits are not published.
Recognition
The site shows customer cars displayed at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals and a 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby featured in Shelby Reunion materials. These are shop-published items, and we found no formal award list. No rating with a review count was seen, so none is quoted.
