About Team CJ Works
Team CJ Works is an Austin, Texas shop that restores and services high-end European classics, with a long record on Jaguars. It is part of the Classic Jaguar Group and describes itself as specializing in the acquisition, restoration and care of the world's finest automobiles, established in 1995.
History
The shop's site carries the line "est. 1995". Its older Classic Jaguar pages document restorations dating back to the mid 2000s, including a 1965 E-Type completed in the summer of 2007. We did not find named owners on the pages we reviewed.
What they restore
The shop's restoration archive lists Jaguars of several eras (XK140, XK150, Mk VII and E-Type), Ferraris, an Aston Martin DBS, a Lamborghini Miura and a Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. Recent projects described on its blog include a De Tomaso Pantera. Search listings also name Porsche among its marques.
Services
Team CJ lists restoration, engine rebuilding, classic car care and maintenance, vehicle acquisition and a parts operation, Team CJ Parts. Listings also mention paint, bodywork and mechanical work. Exotic and early Jaguar projects tend to be among the costliest in the hobby, and our guide on picking the right shop covers how to compare specialists.
Notable projects and awards
The shop's social media shows work on a 1969 Aston Martin DBS and Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytonas. We did not find independently documented awards, so we list none.
