It\'s one of ONLY 43 \"Festival\" Pace cars made and was actually used at the Indy 500 race during the month leading up to the race. \r\n\r\nOf ALL the pace cars made there were ONLY seven 396 big blocks with a 4 speed manuel transmission. This car is one of those! Only six are left in existence.\r\n\r\nCar is in great condition and is registered with ICC (International Camaro Club)\r\n\r\nA/C and rear spolier were added when car was restored. NO big block Pace Cars came with A/C.\r\n\r\nVIN 124677N206574\r\n\r\nCamaro Concepts in Houston, Tx (713-365-9000) has performed all work on this car over the past 32 years.\r\n\r\nNEW PHOTOS POSTED: single rear factory traction bar that only Pace Cars received, Hidden VIN # under the windshield wiper grill, both #\'s on the motor, # on transmission and rear end #\'s. \r\n\r\n7-5-2025 UPDATE: Motor is stamped with correct VIN, however motor is NOT original from this car.

Mottor is correct as far as HP etc. but is from a 1965 corvette, chevelle or impala. Instake manifold and heads were manufactured at about the same time as block (see photos). Carb is correct for this car.

Transmission is a Muncie 21 (M21) which is correct for this car BUT is NOT the original transmission. Posi 3:31 rearend is original (see photos). Hidden VIN (see Photos) matches firewall tag and door jamb tag.
