Forza Car Company

Forza Car Company is a family-owned collector car dealership in East Petersburg, Pennsylvania, in Lancaster County. It buys and sells classic and collectible cars, and it also offers climate-controlled storage and collection management. The business was founded in April 2023 by Joyce Franco, which makes it one of the newer classic car dealers in the state, though the company says its team brings more than 40 years of combined automotive experience.

Who is behind Forza

According to a profile in Fig Lancaster, Franco is a Lancaster County native who previously ran a fabric sourcing business before moving into cars. She has said she wants Forza to be a place where everyone can share an appreciation for classic models, with a particular interest in welcoming women into the hobby. The company's site also lists Jason Clemens, who owns the Classic Shine detailing shop that shares the showroom, along with a managing director and a car specialist. Forza describes itself as "a small family of approachable car buying enthusiasts."

How the business works

Forza operates mainly as a dealer, buying and selling cars as a hub for collectors and enthusiasts. Its website describes buying, selling and trading classic vehicles. It does not present itself as a consignment house, so buyers should expect to deal with the company as the seller of record. The firm moved to a larger facility off Route 741 in July 2023, a few months after it opened, and the same building now houses the showroom, storage and the detailing shop.

What Forza sells

The stock is mixed rather than focused on one marque. The company says its inventory runs from pre-war cars of the 1930s and 1940s to modern collectibles, with European names such as Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Rolls-Royce alongside American muscle cars. Some listings on third-party sites are recent models rather than true classics, so check the year and condition of any specific car rather than assuming it is vintage.

Services beyond sales

• Storage: premium climate-controlled storage, with seasonal and long-term options.
• Collection management: help with caring for and organizing a private collection.
• Appraisals: the company says it offers valuations based on market research and an in-person inspection.
• Detailing: Classic Shine, the aesthetic maintenance shop in the same building.

Buying from Forza

As with any dealer purchase, it pays to ask for the title status, service records and a pre-purchase inspection before committing. Our guide to buying a classic car from a dealer covers the questions worth asking. Forza's public pages do not spell out financing, shipping or deposit terms, so confirm those directly. Shoppers comparing options can also browse classic cars for sale in Pennsylvania.

Reputation

The company is young, so its track record is short. A Birdeye listing, which aggregates mostly Google reviews, shows an average of about 4.9 out of 5 across roughly 38 reviews. We did not find a Better Business Bureau profile for the Pennsylvania company. Forza has also hosted community events, including a women's motor fest in 2023, according to Fig Lancaster.
