Description
Price: US $17,710 (CAD $24,990 at the dealer).
1930 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup. Older but well-done restoration. Handsome in Yellow and black. Paint is still in nice shape for the most part, with just a few blemishes over the years. Electric start and right-hand drive – apparently imported from New Zealand with the AA badge on the grille to prove it.
In this case right hand drive also means throttle pedal is in a different location than expected - between the clutch and brake, so it’s a driver’s challenge! Starts well and runs nice! Powered by a 200 cubic inch inline 4-cylinder with splash oiling system, and all manual controls including air mixture, spark advance, choke, throttle etc. They take a moment to learn how to drive Very desirable body style. Good for 40 hp, so not a speed demon, but a great truck for parades and fun cruising! Still equipped with 4-wheel drum brakes, and has the flying bird radiator cap and the classic oogha horn.
The tires are in the style of original firestone’s and there’s a spare on the driver’s fender. This one has had signal lights installed – an important safety update if you’re going to drive in any kind of modern city traffic and shows 352 miles on the odometer. We assume that’s what is accumulated since restoration was done.
Wooden boards in the bed and bed rails are also well done and nice. Handsome little truck to have some fun with!

Classic Ford Model A Buyer's Guide
The Ford Model A was produced from October 1927 through March 1932 and represents the foundation of the pre-war American collector car hobby. Replacing the Model T after eighteen years of production, the Model A introduced standardized hand controls, a sliding-gear transmission, four-wheel mechanical brakes, and the styling vocabulary that defined American motoring through the 1930s. Approximately 4.85 million Model As were produced across all body styles, and a remarkable percentage of them survive today, supported by perhaps the most active marque club in the world (Model A Restorers Club, MAFCA, and the Model A Ford Club of America). For new buyers, the Model A represents the most accessible genuine pre-war American collector car, with strong parts support, an active community, and pricing that has remained remarkably stable for decades.
