Description
This 1965 Ford Mustang is a comprehensively executed RestoMod with a 408 cubic inch ATK V8 engine paired to a Tremec 5-speed transmission—a genuine track-and-street performer. Over 40,000 dollars in parts were invested in 2018, touching every system from suspension to interior. The build includes Wilwood power brakes, Mustang II front suspension with tubular control arms, a 9-inch Ford rear end, 4-wheel disc brakes, and rear coilovers for serious handling.
Visual upgrades feature a Shelby front end, molded rear spoiler, ceramic-coated BBK headers, Foose 18/20-inch wheels, and full ceramic window tint. The interior combines ProCar race seats, custom dash, center console, and door panels with an Autometer instrument cluster and push-button start. An extreme sound system with dual Kicker amplifiers and subwoofers anchors modern convenience features like power steering, power windows, and a Pioneer touchscreen GPS stereo.
Additional refinements include a cowl induction hood, Borla Attak exhaust, MSD ignition, and Holley race carburetor. The engine shows only 1,500 miles since installation. Clean Texas title included.

Classic Ford Mustang Buyer's Guide
The Ford Mustang launched on April 17, 1964 and sold a million units faster than any car in American history. Sixty years later, the first-generation Mustang (1964½-1973) remains the cornerstone of the classic car hobby — the gateway car for new collectors, the trophy car for veteran enthusiasts, and the most cloned, faked, and re-stamped muscle car on the market. Whether you're hunting a base inline-six coupe or a documented Boss 429, knowing what separates the real cars from the tribute builds is the difference between an investment and a money pit.
