1964 Mercury Comet Cyclone. Straight body, almost no rust Currently has a mid-70's 302 and auto transmission, disconnected but still in the car. Radiator and all peripheral items removed, interior completely removed with solid floor pans except for the driver foot pan.

Small hole can be seen in the photos, $89 floor pan to patch. The body is solid, driver side headlight trim is dented, rear deck lid is dented and battery pan is rusted through (the battery pan was going to come out with the new fender wells anyway). I have a new in the box TCI IFS kit with sub-frame, drilled disc brake kit and booster pump etc., $6k in parts to rebuild the front end with coil overs.

The driver side rear wheel well has some deformed sheet metal from a tire blow out at some point but the trunk is otherwise in great shape. Phenomenal launchpad for a restomod, I just ran out of money and time and kids college is expensive... The windshield is cracked, but the rest of the glass is good.

It's not a vinyl top, that's bed liner spray that the previous owner sprayed all over the car, keeping the sheet metal in great shape. I bought from the original owner, almost zero rust, great project.
