1969 Plymouth Barracuda Resto Mod. Very cool little car with lots going for it! Painted a bright metallic blue with very nice paint quality, and great trim and chrome. The car has been lowered and sits nicely on Boyd Coddington wheels.
A nice set of chrome trumpets exit out back and the tinted windows finish things off nicely. Underneath you’ll find a very clean chassis with tubular upper control arms up front, plus Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. Upgraded headlights with blue center jewels give the car some hot-rod flavour.
Under the hood is a juiced up 340 with a chromed Edelbrock intake and Deamon 4-bbl carb, long tube headers, high-performance starter and lots of chromed pieces like the fan, alternator and braided hoses. An aluminum rad keeps things cool. We suspect it’s also been cammed, but don’t have specs on that.
The engine bay is very nice and is painted just as well as the rest of the car. Behind all that is a rebuilt 727 3-speed automatic that’s been overhauled with a stage II Shift kit and 3500 rpm stall. On the interior the dashboard and door panels have been painted to match the exterior, and the carpets replaced with grey, along with a set of sport bucket seats in place of the factory ones.
We suspect these seats are out of a Honda/Toyota/Nissan from the late 80’s or early 90’s. They’re very comfortable. The folding back seat is still original, and the opening to the trunk still works.
A sport Grant steering wheel and aftermarket pedals have been installed, along with a Clarion Radio/CD player and 4 speakers. The gauges remain stock. The car also has a center console and shifter. The interior is in nice shape and the headliner looks line new.
The trunk is stock and looks clean and is also rust free. Very neat looks with this one, a great color and paint job and lots of performance! The car shows 84,000 miles, but with only 5 digits, true milage is unknown.

Classic Plymouth Barracuda Buyer's Guide
The Plymouth Barracuda has two very different lives in classic-car history. The 1964-1969 A-body cars were affordable economy fastbacks built on the Valiant platform, fun, but not legendary. The 1970-1974 E-body cars are an entirely different animal: purpose-built muscle cars sharing platform with the Dodge Challenger, available with everything from the slant-six to the legendary 426 Hemi. Today, documented original 1970-1971 Hemi 'Cudas and AAR 'Cudas trade for seven-figure money, while solid 1973-1974 cars remain the bargain entry into Mopar muscle ownership.
