Description
Price: US $42,510 (CAD $59,990 at the dealer).
1968 Pontiac GTO. Nicely restored car with lots to offer! Paint is very nice, with only a few minor chips on the lower front bumper. Hide-away headlights car and they work perfectly! Rally wheels and chrome beauty rings are in excellent shape.
No spoiler on this one, but if you’re after a spoiler, check out our other ’68 GTO in red that has one! (yes we have to almost identical cars in stock!). Nice dual exhaust trumpets exit out the back below a very well re-chromed bumper. All the stainless trim is also in excellent shape.
The rear side markers in the shape of the Pontiac crest are super cool. Moving inside you’ll find a very nicely restored interior all in black. Buckets and console featuring the His and Hers dual gated shifter for the automatic transmission.
Black vinyl upholstery, door cards headliner and dash are all in great shape. The interior would be a mix of old and new, but it shows very well. A set of reproduction rubber mats also come with the car.
Front kick panels are aftermarket and house front speakers, 6X9’s now hang from the back package tray for the stereo. A hidden aftermarket Bluetooth stereo is tucked up underneath the dashboard with phone charger. The factory wheel is still in the car, and the dash and gauges are overall still in good condition.
No tachometer in this one, but it does have the rally timer/clock. This is also a factory equipped A/C car! Unfortunately, the system was disconnected and dismantled under the hood, but all the pieces for the system come with the car and are currently in the trunk along with the factory air cleaner assembly. The trunk is in good shape and features the correct spackle finish along with a green/black trunk mat and spare tire cover.
Under the hood you’ll find a Pontiac 400 V8 with a Holley 4-bbl carb with electric choke and chrome air cleaner. The car is equipped with power front disc brakes and power steering. Headers have been added and the engine is painted the correct Pontiac blue.
Behind that is a TH400 automatic. The engine bay is straight forward, and it looks like a newer radiator has been installed. The rear end has 2.76 highway gears in it. The car shows 87,000 miles which could be accurate, but with only 5-digits, true milage is unknown.
Recent work includes new Flowmaster dual exhaust, engine mounts, universal joints, headers, new brake booster, rear axle bearings, New 750 CFM Holley carb, new fuel lines, new Cooper Cobra tires and a wheel alignment, new fuel pump, new rear main seal on the engine, new oil pan gasket, oil filter housing gasket, new transmission pan gasket, new belts power steering pump, new turn signal switch, new valve cover gaskets and lots of new fluids in everything serviced. Basically over $14,000 was just spent between April 2025 and now by the previous owner and she’s ready to roll! Receipts for work completed come with the car.

Classic Pontiac GTO Buyer's Guide
The 1964 Pontiac GTO is the car most historians credit with creating the muscle-car era, a mid-size Tempest with a 389 V8 stuffed under the hood, sold to a generation of young buyers who wanted big-car power in an intermediate-car body. For ten model years (1964-1974) the GTO defined American performance, and today the documented original Tri-Power and Ram Air cars represent the most concentrated value in the entire muscle-car market. This guide covers what separates the legitimate GTOs from the LeMans clones, and what every buyer should verify before wiring money.
