Farland Classic Restoration

Farland Classic Restoration is a restoration shop in Englewood, Colorado, south of downtown Denver. The shop says it has been restoring cars since 1991 and employs about 20 specialists under one roof. Its work leans toward concours-level European sports cars, with a side of restomod builds and electric conversions.

Who they are and where they started

According to the company website, Farland has been in business since 1991. The site does not name an owner in the pages we could read, so this profile does not either. The shop is at 3800 S Kalamath St, Englewood, CO 80110, and it also lists consignment sales alongside restoration work.

What they restore

• European sports cars, with Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo and Lancia named as marques the shop works on
• American cars such as Pontiac and Plymouth
• Cars the shop describes as restomods, including electric vehicle conversions that keep a classic look

Its current-projects list has included a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda, a 1956 Ferrari 250 Boano and a 1959 Jaguar XK150, which gives a sense of the range, from American muscle to pre-1960 European coachbuilt cars.

The work done in-house

The shop says it handles frame-up restorations, mechanical repair, bodywork, paint, interior work and performance builds on site. It lists metalwork and fabrication as part of that offer and presents its restorations as concours grade. Having this many trades in one building can keep a project moving without outside hand-offs, though only a visit and a written scope will show how a specific job would be split.

Awards the shop reports

Farland says it has won Best in Show at the WeatherTech Concours d'Elegance at Road America, and Best in Show at Moab with a Shelby GT500E "Eleanor" tribute car against roughly 300 entries. These are the shop's own claims from its website; we did not verify them with the event organizers.

Working with the shop

The shop describes its process as an assessment and a conversation about the owner's goals, then detailed planning, the build, and delivery of a documented, ready-to-drive car. It offers a project intake form on its website. Pricing terms, deposits and billing method are not published, so ask for them before work starts.
