Vintage Car Works

Vintage Car Works is a Centennial, Colorado, restoration shop best known for classic Porsches. Owner Dave DiMaria says he opened his first restoration shop after finishing a finance degree in 1980 and established the Colorado business in 1997 after moving to the Denver area. The shop's site describes it as a nationally recognized specialist in vintage Porsche restoration.

According to the shop, DiMaria studied machine shop practice in Southern California in the early 1970s, later worked under Al Cadrobbi, a 4-cam Porsche mechanic, and earned a business degree at Cal State Long Beach in 1980. The site says the team has more than 90 combined years of experience. Awards the shop reports

The shop says its cars have taken First in Class at the Pebble Beach Concours and at the Long Beach Grand Prix concours, scored 298 or more points out of 300 for Gmund awards at Porsche Parade, and won Best Overall Restoration at the Porsche Club of America Parade. It also cites recognition at Bloomington Gold. These are the shop's own claims and we did not verify them with the organizers.
