J & M Enterprizes

J and M Enterprizes is a family-owned Corvette restoration shop at 28363 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville, Florida. By its own account it has been in Brooksville since 1982 and has produced NCRS Top Flight restorations since 2000. This profile relies on the shop's website and public listings, and the shop is not affiliated with us.

Who they are

The site lists John, Mary Ann and Tim Ames as the owners. John Ames moved the business from Fort Lauderdale, where he worked with his father, and both previously taught at South Florida vocational schools, according to the shop. It began as a general auto body and mechanical shop and gradually narrowed to Corvettes. The shop says John and Tim have more than 40 years of combined experience.

What they restore

Corvettes are the specialty, from light bodywork to complete frame-off restoration, along with custom restomods. The completed restorations page lists examples such as a 1967 Corvette. The shop also sells new and used Corvette parts.

Work done in-house

The shop's stated range includes body and paint, mechanical work, frame-off restoration and custom builds. It says it assesses each owner's goals, project scope and timeline, and that it draws on its facility and vendor network. It also says it builds award-winning hot rods.

Notable projects and awards

The shop says its cars have won NCRS Regional and National Top Flight awards. We did not find a public judging record to confirm individual results, so treat the claim as the shop's own. A 1967 Corvette entry on its site references "King Ray," a car the shop says it worked on.

Working with the shop

The site offers estimates and emphasizes personal service, but publishes no rates, deposit terms or billing method. For a framework, see our restoration cost guide.
