Thomas Vintage Motors

Thomas Vintage Motors is a Lafayette, Colorado shop that works only on vehicles from 1975 and earlier. Its website says it has operated since 1987 and covers everything from routine service to ground-up restoration, including historic race cars. This profile draws on the shop's own site. The business is independent and has no connection to Classic Cars Arena.

Who they are and history

The company, which trades as Thomas Vintage Motors LLC, states that it has been operating since 1987. The pages we reviewed do not name owners or staff, so no individuals are credited here. It is based at 1220 Commerce Court in Lafayette, between Boulder and Denver.

What they restore

The shop's stated rule is pre-1975 vehicles only. The site says it handles numerous American and European cars going back to the pre-war era, along with many historic race cars.

Work done in-house

• Mechanical service and repair, from oil changes upward
• Engine rebuilds
• Ground-up restoration

The shop is open about one limit. It says it does not offer body work or paint and instead works with trusted partners for those stages. That is worth knowing if you are planning a full restoration, because bodywork and paint can account for a large share of the schedule and budget, and they would be handled by another business.

Projects and awards

The site does not list awards or detailed named projects, so none are claimed here.
