Description
1974 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 I have been the current owner for the past 5 years. Definitely not prefect but prefect for going to beach or hitting some trails. It runs great and I have spend a lot of time making sure it runs good.
New fuel lines and new fuel tank. Wheels are OEM new Toyota Steel wheels with factory hubs. Tires have less than 2000 miles on them. New engine fuel pump. I had the whole brakes redone and they stop on a dime now.
New distributor and many little new or fixed things I have done over the past 5 years. Little rust but nothing crazy bad. Has original straight 6 engine and runs great. It definitely leaks oil. Car is a 1974 model so smog isn’t required! condition: fair cylinders: 6 cylinders drive: 4wd fuel: gas odometer: 97200 title status: clean transmission: manual type: SUV Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 **

Classic Toyota Land Cruiser Buyer's Guide (FJ40 / FJ55 / FJ60 / FJ62)
I approached my first Toyota Land Cruiser the way I approach every potential project: with a flashlight, a screwdriver, and a healthy skepticism about anything the seller told me. What I found was a vehicle engineered to a standard of mechanical integrity I hadn't encountered before — overbuilt axles, a bulletproof inline-six, and a simplicity of design that made every system accessible and rebuildable. That first FJ40 taught me why United Nations field teams, Australian outback farmers, and California trail enthusiasts all converged on the same truck. The challenge isn't whether to buy one — it's buying the right one, at the right price, in a market that has moved sharply upward.
