Description
Price: US $28,340 (CAD $39,990 at the dealer).
1968 Chevrolet Impala Custom Coupe. Canadian built car and well-done complete rotisserie restoration with lots to offer! Factory 396 car, with the engine rebuilt and bored out to a 402! Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake and carburetor, plus ceramic coated hooker headers with 2.5” stainless Magna flow dual exhaust and X pipe. It sounds just as good as you image and runs very well.
Every aspect of the car has been well restored including the well detailed engine bay with chrome upgrades on the engine, as well as a modern power brake kit with 4-wheel disc brake upgrade. Power steering also on this big car like you’d expect. Behind all that is a rebuilt TH-400 3-speed automatic.
The exterior of the car is basically flawless. Excellent paint quality all around with all new chrome. The fiberglass cowl hood with hood pins and Cragar chrome mags with Michelin tires really give the car a muscle look to go along with the powertrain.
Colors are great with a very handsome metallic blue and white top. All marker and taillight lenses appear to be brand new as well. The interior again is all new with two-tone vinyl upholstery on front bucket seats, continuing to the back seat.
Door panels and side panels are perfect, and there’s new carpets, reproduced rubber floor mats and a new headliner. The car was originally columns shift but now has a console and proper floor shifter. The console has also been tastefully upgraded with extra gauges and a tach.
The dash is in great shape, and a modern Retro-sound radio has been installed in the factory holes of the original. Door speakers have been added to the front doors, but speaker grilles have been painted to match properly. Rear 6X9’s on the back package tray and a hidden Rockford Fosgate subwoofer complete a great sounding, powerful audio system.
Everything on the interior of the car was either completely restored or replaced with new and it’s absolutely stunning. Some custom work into the trunk is also very well done with vinyl covered panels all around, and a custom spare tire cover, plus interior quality carpeting. The original shop manual from ’68, jack and tire iron are all included.
A book with restoration pictures and documents is also included and the car looks to have been repainted in its factory correct color (or very close to it). Nothing to hide and no disappointments on this one – it’s awesome! The car shows 39,000 miles, but with only 5 digits and a restoration, true milage is unknown.

Classic Chevrolet Impala Buyer's Guide
The Chevrolet Impala launched in 1958 as the top-trim Bel Air variant and quickly became the most popular full-size American car of the 1960s and 1970s. Across nearly thirty years of classic-era production (1958-1985), the Impala defined American full-size motoring, from the iconic 1958 launch year, through the legendary 1961-1964 SS bubble-tops, the muscle-era 1965-1970 SS427 and SS396 cars, the personal-luxury 1971-1976 generation, and the downsized 1977-1985 cars. The 1962-1964 SS409 Impalas remain among the most desirable factory drag racing cars ever produced. Whether you're hunting a documented 1963 SS409, a clean 1969 SS427, or a survivor 1977 Impala four-door, knowing what separates a documented original from a Biscayne or Bel Air dressed up with Impala trim is the difference between an honest investment and an expensive lesson.
