American Classics Autotrader LLC

American Classics Autotrader LLC is a Pompano Beach, Florida dealer selling American muscle cars, classics and a selection of luxury and late-model vehicles. It operates from 1421 SW 10th Avenue, just north of Fort Lauderdale, and lists its cars on its own website as well as on national marketplaces such as ClassicCars.com and Carsforsale.com. The company says it began in Germany before moving its operation to South Florida.

Who they are

According to its own website, the business spent more than 18 years in Germany before deciding to operate directly from the United States, moving to South Florida and founding American Classics Autotrader LLC. Florida corporate records point to the LLC being formed in 2019; another dealer profile describing the company gives 2020 as the year it was established in South Florida. The company also says it has served more than 5,000 customers over its history, a figure that covers its years in Germany as well.

That background helps explain its pitch: a dealer used to selling American cars to buyers abroad, now based in Florida and selling to buyers across the country and overseas.

How the business works

American Classics Autotrader sells its own inventory. We found no sign that it takes cars on consignment. Its website includes pages for trade-ins and for owners who want to sell or trade a car, truck or SUV, a vehicle finder service, and an online finance application with a loan calculator. The company also says its sales staff can provide a vehicle history report on request.

What they sell

The stock mixes 1960s and 1970s American muscle with classic European cars and some modern used vehicles. Prices tend to end in "979." In October 2026 the company had 16 listings on ClassicCars.com, including:

• a 1968 Dodge Charger 440 at $99,979
• a 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera at $69,979
• a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS convertible at $65,979
• a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 327, described as fully restored, at $49,979
• a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS at $49,979
• a 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL at $34,979

At the same time, its Carsforsale.com page showed 14 vehicles starting at $8,979, including a 1999 Mercedes SL500, a 2002 Mercedes S55 AMG and a 2019 BMW 330i. Its own site has also listed restomods such as a 1972 Nova SS with an LS engine swap. Buyers looking specifically for older classics can also browse more classic cars in Florida.

Buying from American Classics Autotrader

The company says it helps buyers ship cars through long-term partner companies, and a dealer profile describing the business mentions enclosed and open transport nationwide. Financing applications can be made through its website. The same profile says the company also handles restoration, paint and mechanical work, though its own site gives few details, so ask what work has been done on a particular car and by whom.

For a long-distance purchase, ask for the VIN, the title status and the vehicle history report the company offers, request recent photos or a video, and book an independent inspection before you send a deposit. Our guide on how to buy a classic car walks through each step.

Reputation

We could not find a BBB profile for the business. It has pages on Facebook, Yelp and several dealer directories, but we were not able to view those review pages directly, so we do not quote ratings here. What can be seen is a steady presence on the main classic car marketplaces, with live listings on ClassicCars.com and Carsforsale.com at the time of writing. As with any dealer, judge each car on its own paperwork and inspection.
