Hollywood Motors

Hollywood Motors is a dealer of classic, muscle and collectible cars on Sunrise Highway in Copiague, on the South Shore of Long Island, New York. Its website bills it as a source of classic cars, muscle cars and collectible cars for Long Island buyers. The Better Business Bureau lists the business as starting on March 5, 2013, and a ClassicCars.com directory entry also gives 2013 as its founding year. The company's own About page has not been filled in, so the owners and the full history are not published there.

How the business works

Hollywood Motors is a dealership that sells cars from its own inventory. Nothing on its website describes consignment. Shoppers can browse the current stock online, and the site also runs a car finder service: you enter the make, model and year range you want, and the company says it will send an email as soon as a matching vehicle enters its inventory. That is a useful option for buyers who are after a specific model and do not want to check listings every day.

What Hollywood Motors sells

The inventory is mostly American classics and muscle cars. The site's filters cover model years from 1929 to 2023 and makes including Chevrolet, Ford, Pontiac, Cadillac, Buick, Dodge, Plymouth, Lincoln and Mercury, along with a few imports such as Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Bentley, and a few other names including GMC, Jeep and Harley Davidson. When this profile was prepared, the website listed a 1969 Cadillac Eldorado at $42,500, a 1961 Pontiac Bonneville convertible at $44,500, a 1967 Ford Mustang convertible at $39,500, a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LT at $39,995, a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette convertible at $16,500 and a 1983 Mercedes-Benz 300D turbo sedan at $5,900. ClassicCars.com showed about 43 vehicles from the dealer, so it is a mid-sized stock rather than a huge one. Prices change quickly, so treat these as a snapshot of the range.

Buying from Hollywood Motors

The website offers an online credit application for financing, though it does not name the lenders it works with. A Preferred Shipping tab appears in the site menu, but the page did not load when this profile was prepared, so ask the dealer directly if you need a car delivered. The site does not describe a pre-purchase inspection program or warranty. For out-of-town buyers in particular, it is sensible to ask for the VIN, title status and a walk-around video, and to hire an independent inspector before sending money. Our guide to buying from a classic car dealer lists the questions worth asking.

Selling a car to Hollywood Motors

The site has a Sell Your Car page with a form for the year, make, model, mileage, photos and notes on the vehicle. It does not say whether the company buys cars outright or takes them on another basis, so call before assuming either.

Reputation

Two public signals could be seen directly in October 2026:

• Birdeye shows 4.7 stars from 284 reviews, drawn mostly from Facebook (143) and Google (134). Reviewers describe the staff as knowledgeable and the dealings as straightforward.
• The Better Business Bureau lists an A+ rating, with no complaints in the past three years and no customer reviews on its page. The business is not BBB Accredited.

As with any dealer, read recent reviews yourself and judge the specific car in front of you.

Visiting and contact

The dealer's own website gives its address as 1185 Sunrise Highway, Copiague, New York 11726. Archived copies of its contact page show it listed at 659 Sunrise Highway in West Babylon in June 2024 and at the Copiague address by May 2025, and several directories and review sites still carry the older address, so use the one on the dealer's site. The phone number is 631-620-3330 and the public email address is [email protected]. The website lists hours of 10 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday. Call ahead if you plan to see a particular car, and browse New York classic cars for sale on this site to compare other options.
