Stagecoach Motors LLC

Stagecoach Motors LLC is a small, family-owned classic car dealership in Rushville, Ohio, in the central part of the state along US Highway 22. Its website names Larry Watson and Chase Watson as the owners and describes the business as "a family owned & operated dealership" run by "avid car enthusiasts." The company focuses on American muscle cars and classics from the 1960s and 1970s. Stagecoach Motors is not affiliated with Classic Cars Arena, and we found no published founding year or company history.

How the business works

Stagecoach Motors sells vehicles it owns, and nothing on its site suggests it takes cars on consignment. A search listing for the site's description says it buys, sells and trades, and that it operates from a 6,500 square foot showroom, though neither detail appears on the pages we could read directly. The company is open by appointment: the site asks visitors to "call, text or email to schedule." There are no posted walk-in hours, so plan to arrange a time with the owners before you drive out.

What Stagecoach Motors sells

The inventory is small and tightly focused. When we checked in October 2026, the company's website listed eight vehicles and its ClassicCars.com dealer page listed six. The cars were mostly full-size General Motors models from the 1960s and 1970s, which matches the specialty the company describes.

• A 1964 and a 1969 Chevrolet Biscayne
• A 1968 Chevrolet Impala SS 427
• A 1968 Chevrolet Caprice with a 396 engine
• A 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 454
• A 1966 Pontiac Safari and a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix
• A 1970 GMC truck

Asking prices at that time ran from about $9,900 for the Grand Prix to $59,900 for the Monte Carlo SS. Stock turns over, so these are a snapshot rather than a current price list. The site also keeps a gallery of sold cars, which gives a sense of what the dealer has handled before.

Buying from Stagecoach Motors

The website mentions financing and links to an outside lender, but it does not describe shipping, deposits, inspections or warranties. That does not mean those are unavailable, only that the company has not published them, so ask directly. If the car is coming from out of state, plan on arranging transport and an independent pre-purchase inspection yourself. Our guide to buying from a classic car dealer covers the questions worth settling before any money changes hands, including title status, VIN checks and written descriptions of condition.

Reputation

We could not find a Better Business Bureau profile, or a Google or Yelp rating that we could verify, for Stagecoach Motors. The company has a Facebook page and Instagram and TikTok accounts, and it is a Priority Seller on ClassicCars.com, but none of that tells you how past customers were treated. With so little public track record, the sensible approach is the same one you would use with any smaller dealer: ask for references from recent buyers, verify the title, and see the car in person or through a trusted inspector.

Visiting Stagecoach Motors

The showroom address is 7795 US Highway 22, Rushville, Ohio 43150. The phone number for both owners is 740-407-1000, and the company lists [email protected] for email. Some directories show the street number as 775, which appears to be a typo.
