Harbor Auto Restoration
Rockledge shop restoring pre-1985 classics, with a stated focus on Corvettes and NCRS-level work.
About Harbor Auto Restoration
Harbor Auto Restoration is a Rockledge, Florida shop on the Space Coast that restores classic vehicles built in 1985 and earlier. Its tagline is "Driving The Past Into The Future," and it says it welcomes younger enthusiasts and first-time classic owners as well as experienced collectors.
Who they are
The shop says it has spent more than 30 years working exclusively on pre-1985 vehicles, and its Corvette page refers to 38 years of building show cars. A Better Business Bureau listing shows a business start date in 2021, which may reflect a newer business entity or an ownership change, so ask the shop about its history and who will work on your car.
What they restore
Harbor says it works on all classic makes. Its site names Corvettes, Mustangs, Ford hot rods, Packards, Cadillacs and Volkswagen Beetles. Corvette restoration has its own page and is the shop's most visible specialty.
Work done in-house
- Mechanical work and engine rebuilds
- Paint, with showroom-quality finishes as the stated goal
- Body work and fabrication
- Interior refurbishing
- Full Corvette restoration
Projects and standards
The shop says it has worked on multiple cars that earned 100 points in National Corvette Restorers Society judging and knows how to take a car to that level. That is the shop's own statement and was not verified with the NCRS. It also says it takes part in local car shows. It describes its approach as big shop capability with small shop attention and no shortcuts.
Working with the shop
The shop mentions flexible packages for first-time classic owners but does not publish prices or deposit terms. Review questions to ask a restoration shop and get approvals for any scope changes in writing. If you want a Corvette to start with, browse classic Corvettes for sale.
