Family-run Corvette and classic car restoration, repair and parts shop in Kalamazoo, Michigan, established 1982 per its website.
About Roberts Corvettes and Classics
Roberts Corvettes and Classics is a family-run Corvette and classic car shop in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Its website says the business has been established since 1982, with experience going back to the 1960s. It restores and repairs cars and also sells Corvette parts and some vehicles, so it is partly a dealer as well as a restoration shop.
Who they are
The shop's team page, as summarized in search results, says the business is run by father and son Tim and Jim, with Jim working on Corvettes and classic cars for more than fifty years. The shop describes itself as a Michigan-certified family-owned business. It says it belongs to the National Corvette Restorers Society and Corvette America.
What they restore
Corvettes are the centerpiece, but the shop's restoration page also covers other classic cars. It describes work on exteriors (fenders, mirrors, trim), interiors (fabrics, panels, dash, radio) and mechanical systems (engine, brakes, transmission).
Services
The shop lists classic car restoration, repair and detailing, plus Corvette parts sales. It says an owner can choose a restoration to original, authentic condition or add modern features that raise a car's usefulness and value. It does not publish a list of in-house metal, paint or upholstery capabilities, so ask which jobs stay under its own roof and which go to outside specialists.
Projects and awards
The restoration page does not show a dated project portfolio, and we found no documented awards. NCRS membership is an affiliation, not an award. If you plan a judged restoration, ask directly what the shop has done to NCRS standards.
Reputation
We did not verify a review rating directly, so read current reviews and ask the shop for references.
