Investment Classics is a classic car business in Saugatuck, Michigan, on the Lake Michigan shore in Allegan County. It is owned by Ron Levine, whom the company's website introduces as a classic car consultant and "an avid car collector for over 50 years." The pitch on its home page is consignment: it asks owners to call Ron to evaluate their car. It also buys and sells cars, finds cars for buyers and offers hand detailing services. Its current inventory is very small.

Who is behind it

Local press coverage from May 2022, when the company opened a showroom in Saugatuck Township, described Levine as a Chicago native who built a printing and graphic design company there and later settled in the Saugatuck and Douglas area. According to that coverage, he assembled his collection over years of auction visits and consolidated cars that had been stored in several places in the new showroom. The business does not publish a founding year, so we do not give one. The showroom's grand opening was on May 21, 2022, and the same coverage reported regular opening hours of Monday, Wednesday and Friday that year.

Consignment and selling

The site's headline is "Consign Your Classic Car Today!" and its sell-your-car page says "selective realistic consignments will be considered." In other words, the company chooses which cars it takes on, and it does not publish commission rates, contract length or fees. The company describes its showroom stock as finely restored cars from the 1950s to the 2000s, naming Thunderbirds, Mercedes, Jaguars and Porsches. In early October 2026, however, the inventory page listed only two cars, both Fords: a 1957 Thunderbird at $82,500 and a 1993 Mustang convertible at $20,600. The site also has a Sold page and a Car Finder page, where the company says it will search for the car a buyer wants. Stock this thin means a visit is best planned around a specific car.

The showroom was also set up to sell memorabilia, and the company has described vintage neon service station signs, signed sports jerseys and other collectibles, with a jukebox and model trains as part of the display. Its finance page points buyers to three outside lenders that work with collector cars: J.J. Best Banc and Co., Woodside Credit and Collector Car Lending. Terms depend on each lender, and the descriptions on the page are the lenders' own marketing. Its inventory listings also show estimated monthly payments based on a 20 percent down payment.

The company's Restorative Services page covers detailing rather than mechanical or body restoration. It says the work is done by hand, cites more than a decade of detailing experience, and offers custom paint correction and ceramic coating packages.

Reputation

We found no Better Business Bureau profile we could open and no review platform with a count we could verify, so we are not quoting a star rating. The company's own testimonials page carries one letter, from a Michigan buyer who bought a car sight unseen and said it arrived in better condition than expected. A single testimonial published by the business itself is not an independent measure, so use it as context only. As with any small dealer, ask for the title status, a detailed photo set and a pre-purchase inspection before sending money.

That differs from the 3512 Commercial Boulevard address used when the showroom opened in 2022, so the business appears to have moved within Saugatuck.
