Street Dreamz

Street Dreamz is a one-man classic car dealership in Denver, Colorado. The owner, Vince Rosensteel, writes on the website that he is the owner and sole employee, that he retired from his construction company in 2002 and started the dealership. It is an independent business and is not affiliated with Classic Cars Arena.

How the business works

According to the About text, Mr. Rosensteel owns all of his cars outright, with titles in the name of his licensed, bonded and insured dealership, which he describes as a sole proprietorship. He says he does not buy from auctions and does not take consignments,. He says the cars are stored indoors and are shown by appointment, and that his dealership has perfect standing with the state dealer board. Those statements are his own, and we could not independently check the dealer board claim. He also says he will arrange shipping.

The model list is led by 41 Ford Mustangs, then Corvettes, Chevelles, Novas, Bel Airs, C/K trucks and Camaros. Most vehicles are coupes (137), with 47 convertibles and 33 pickups. The site's price filters count 134 cars under $49,000 and 147 under $79,000. Check each listing for details.

Buying from Street Dreamz

Because it is a one-person operation, expect to deal directly with the owner. The site says calls or email work best, and visits are by appointment. The company says it can help with shipping, but it does not publish a financing program, a warranty or an inspection policy, so ask about each. Our guide to how to buy a classic car explains the title, VIN and condition checks that matter whether the seller is a large lot or a single owner-operator.

Reputation

We did not find a BBB profile for this business. The BBB page that came up for Street Dreamz in a Colorado auto body category belongs to a different company, so we do not cite it. Review sites show a small number of customer comments. A Chamber of Commerce listing includes 2021 reviews from buyers who praise the owner and the shipping of a purchased truck, and Yelp showed two reviews. We have not verified these, and a handful of comments is not a full picture. Plan to ask for photos, a walk-around video and an independent inspection, and compare prices through classic cars for sale around the state.

Visiting

The site lists 2275 South Platte River Drive, Denver, CO 80223 and the phone (303) 872-9157. The owner can also be reached at [email protected], an address listed in directories. Because showings are by appointment, contact him before you go.
