Ultra Automotive is a classic and collector car dealer in Milford, Ohio, on the east side of the Cincinnati area. The business is also known online as Bob Elliot's Ultra Automotive, and its own website says the owner has "been in business since 1987." That would make it one of the longer-running independent classic car sellers in the state, though the 1987 date is the owner's own statement and we could not confirm it independently. A dealer with its own inventory

Ultra Automotive sells cars it owns rather than taking vehicles on consignment. The owner says he deals only in "premium classics" that he picks out himself, and customer testimonials on the site describe the business as run by Bob and his son Justin. The company shows its cars by appointment only, so the usual walk-in lot visit is not part of the model. Call first.

The site groups its stock into classic cars, muscle cars, antiques, pre-war cars and classic trucks, and it carries a lot of it. The company's own site lists more than 100 vehicles, and its ClassicCars.com dealer page showed close to the same number when we checked. Asking prices on the site ran from about $5,500 to $149,500 at the time of research, and some cars are marked "Call for Our Price." Prices change often, so treat any figure as a snapshot.

The mix is broad and leans American. Recent and featured listings have included a 1932 Ford Roadster with a blown Ardun flathead, a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T convertible, a 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle, a 1966 Chevrolet Caprice, a 1965 Cadillac Eldorado, a 1960 Pontiac Ventura, a 1967 Buick Skylark and a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. There are also a few imports and later vehicles, such as a 1974 Triumph TR6 and a 1990 Ford F-150, plus pre-war cars like a 1940 Ford Deluxe convertible and a 1936 Plymouth sedan that has since sold.

Financing is also listed as an option, and the site mentions dry storage on request and a full detailing service for classics and other vehicles. The site does not publish terms for deposits, returns or inspections, so ask for those in writing before you commit.

Many of the testimonials come from out-of-state buyers. The site's customer page lists buyers in Washington, Iowa, Maryland, Arizona, Texas and western New York, along with local buyers around Cincinnati, and several mention shipping on enclosed trailers arranged by the dealer. These are testimonials the business chose to publish, which is worth keeping in mind. As with any long-distance purchase, what to check before you buy applies here too: confirm where the car is, ask for the title status and VIN, request a walk-around video, and consider an independent inspection before sending money.

The picture is mostly positive but not uniform. The dealer's own testimonial page runs to roughly 50 reviews dated from about 2015 to 2026, most of them written between 2018 and 2021, and many say the car matched Bob's description. A Google-sourced listing for Ultra Auto Reconditioning, which shares the same street address, website and phone number, shows 4.4 stars from 10 reviews, including one reviewer who wrote "Avoid" and another who called Bob "on time, precise with information, and easy to conduct business with."
