Description
Factory Car With Numbers Matching and Original Hub Caps and Keys 200 Six Cylinder Engine - No Power Steering or Brakes. Base Model With Air Conditioning Red With Black Interior UPDATE - Buffing Done. Still No Wax Car was restored to a very nice driver quality in 1985.
The paint you see in the photos is 41 years old. The ¼ of the top that shines is the actual paint with no wax yet, just hand rubbed buffing compound. That should give you an idea of how good and solid the body is to hold paint for 41 years.
Installing new carpet, doing a tune up and fluid changes, lube etc. that the Mustang deserves from sitting. After restoration in 1985, the car was garaged and driven once a year on the owners birthday in order to preserve it. The Car has 68,383 miles on it and is supposedly original miles.
No documentation here. I’ve been a “car guy” with many cars under my belt and can not find a reason to believe otherwise. 1965 Ford Mustang fuel: gas odometer: 68,383 title status: clean transmission: automatic type: coupe

Classic Ford Mustang Buyer's Guide
The Ford Mustang launched on April 17, 1964 and sold a million units faster than any car in American history. Sixty years later, the first-generation Mustang (1964½-1973) remains the cornerstone of the classic car hobby, the gateway car for new collectors, the trophy car for veteran enthusiasts, and the most cloned, faked, and re-stamped muscle car on the market. Whether you're hunting a base inline-six coupe or a documented Boss 429, knowing what separates the real cars from the tribute builds is the difference between an investment and a money pit.
