Wrenchers LLC

Wrenchers LLC is a restoration and build shop at 2100 Easy Street in Commerce Charter Township, Michigan, serving the Oakland County area. It works on classic cars, hot rods and muscle cars, and also lists a race shop and electric vehicle conversions. Before you visit any shop, our notes on choosing a classic car restoration shop can help you prepare questions. This profile is independent and does not imply any partnership with Classic Cars Arena.

Who they are and some history

Wrenchers' own site does not give a founding year or name its owner. Business listings describe the company as established in 2007, which would make it about 19 years old, but that date comes from directory text rather than the shop's website. Some older customer reviews mention a change in management, so ask who will actually manage your project.

What they restore

The shop describes its work as classic and antique cars, hot rods, muscle cars and custom automobiles. Cars named on the site include a Challenger and a Cadillac. It offers full frame-off restoration, traditional restoration and custom work.

Work done in-house

• Frame-off restoration of complete vehicles.
• Body and paint work.
• Mechanical upgrades, including brakes, fuel injection and suspension.
• Interior work in leather and vinyl.
• Race shop services and EV conversions, listed alongside the restoration work.

Notable projects and awards

The shop's site lists a third-place finish at Detroit Autorama but does not state the year or class, so we cannot date it. The site also features a video of the team preparing a car for the show. Listings say the shop has built national award-winning cars, but we did not find named projects that document this.

Working with the shop

The shop says it listens to what customers want and treats each vehicle as carefully as its own, aiming to do work right the first time. We did not see published terms on estimates, deposits or billing. Reviews we came across mention a busy schedule that can lengthen timelines, which is worth asking about when you set expectations.
