SuperSport Classics
Largo, Florida dealer selling its own stock of 1950s to early 1970s Chevrolet muscle cars and classics, with a separate service center.
About SuperSport Classics
SuperSport Classics is a classic and muscle car dealer in Largo, Florida, in Pinellas County between Clearwater and St. Petersburg. The business was registered as an LLC in December 2018, according to its Better Business Bureau file, and its website has been online since the summer of 2019. It sells mostly American cars from the 1950s through the early 1970s, with a strong lean toward Chevrolet, and it runs its own service center a short drive from the showroom.
A dealer that owns its stock
Unlike many classic car sellers that work mainly on consignment, SuperSport Classics buys the cars it sells. Its website puts it plainly: "we know our cars because we own our cars." The company says every car goes through its inspection process and is reviewed by its in-house mechanics before it is listed, and that it tries to describe each vehicle accurately. On its service center site it goes further, describing itself as the only full-service classic car dealer in Florida and claiming one of the largest owned inventories in the United States. Those are the company's own descriptions and are hard to check independently, but the basic model is clear: in most cases the car you see listed belongs to the dealer and sits in Largo.
SuperSport has moved twice since it opened. Its 2019 website gave an address on 34th Street North in Clearwater, and by 2022 it had moved to 126th Avenue North in Largo. It now operates from 62nd Street North in Largo. Some third-party listing sites still show the older addresses, so use the current one below.
What SuperSport Classics sells
When we checked the inventory in early October 2026, 40 of the 46 cars listed were Chevrolets, with a few Pontiacs, Fords and a Dodge making up the rest. The core of the stock is late-1960s Chevelles and Camaros, including big-block SS 396 cars, a real X22 Camaro SS and an X33 Z/28, plus 1955 and 1957 Bel Airs, Novas, Impalas and Chevrolet C10 pickups. Non-Chevrolet cars on the list included a 1965 Pontiac GTO with Tri-Power, a 1967 Pontiac LeMans convertible and a 1959 Ford Galaxie.
Most cars are driver-focused builds rather than concours pieces: many have small-block V8 swaps, air conditioning, disc brakes and other comfort upgrades, while a smaller group is marketed as numbers-matching or as genuine SS cars. Asking prices at the time ranged from just under $30,000 to about $140,000 for a fully custom LS3-powered Camaro restomod. Listings say a free powertrain warranty is included with each purchase. The terms are not posted, so ask for the written coverage before you commit.
Buying from SuperSport Classics
The company's site describes a four-step remote purchase: call to discuss the car, place a deposit to hold it, receive the purchase documents by email with payment instructions, and then wait for delivery while the dealer arranges transport. Other services include:
- Financing through specialist collector car lenders. The site links to applications with J.J. Best, Classic Car Leaders and Woodside Credit.
- Shipping through what the company calls an extensive network of licensed and insured transporters, with door-to-door delivery.
- A showroom visit. A testimonial on the dealer's site mentions a four-post lift in the showroom that staff will use to raise a car for inspection.
Even when a dealer runs its own pre-sale check, an independent inspection is worth paying for on a long-distance purchase, and it is sensible to confirm what the deposit covers and whether it is refundable before sending money.
Consignment and the service center
SuperSport also takes cars on consignment, though its site says it does so "on a limited basis." It advertises zero out-of-pocket cost for sellers, and every consigned car has to pass the company's mechanical inspection before it is listed. Owners start by sending details and photos through an online form. Commission terms are not published, so ask for them in writing; if you are new to consigning a classic, our guide explains the usual fees and paperwork.
The SuperSport Classics Service Center operates at a separate address on 126th Avenue North in Largo. It focuses on 1950s to 1980s classics and muscle cars and works on cars bought elsewhere, too. Its menu covers routine maintenance, carburetor and cooling work, electrical repairs, air conditioning upgrades, disc brake and power steering conversions, exhaust systems, detailing and ceramic coatings, and small paint and body repairs. The service center states that it does not take on full restorations and is not a storage business.
Reputation
SuperSport Classics is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. When we viewed its BBB profile in October 2026, the company held an A+ rating, with seven complaints closed in the previous three years and 17 customer reviews. Its own testimonials page features buyers who purchased Chevelles, a Firebird and an Impala sight unseen and describe accurate listings and regular updates during shipping. Those reviews are chosen by the dealer, so read them alongside independent review sites and the BBB file. The company lists cars on several national marketplaces as well as its own site, which makes it easy to compare its asking prices against similar cars.
