The company says it was founded in 1993 by Thomas Iatarola and his father, and it buys, sells and consigns vintage and collectible cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats. The business is independent and is not affiliated with Classic Cars Arena.

History and ownership

The company's About page says Thomas Iatarola owned 14 cell phone businesses across Indiana in the 1980s, while his father owned Toyota and British Leyland dealerships beginning in the 1960s. Collecting classic cars started as a hobby and grew into the business. The site says the company looks for "oddball" cars with their own character rather than only the most popular models, and that Thomas Iatarola has held world records for the sale price of cars and motorcycles. The site does not say which vehicles or prices those refer to, so treat that as the company's own statement. The domain tntclassiccars.com appears in the Internet Archive as early as 2002, which fits a business that has been around for a long time.

What TNT sells

TNT says its focus is A-body Mopars, early Camaros and Mustangs, but its inventory categories are broad: GM, Ford, Dodge, Opel, Pontiac, Chrysler and Mopar, foreign makes and off-brand vehicles, along with motorcycles, boats, trailers, late-model vehicles and projects. It also sells memorabilia such as neon signs and restored gas pumps. When we checked the Available Now page, which carried a 2025 copyright, it listed six vehicles: a 1971 Opel GT, a 1979 Dodge half-ton pickup, a 1972 and a 1963 Pontiac Catalina, a 1967 Ford Mustang and a 2008 Chrysler Sebring. Listed prices ran from the low thousands to just under $30,000. Stock changes, so confirm what is current before making the trip.

Consignment and selling

The website offers consignment, and a Wanted page with an inquiry form suggests it also buys cars. The consignment page says only "Do you want to sell your car? We can help!" and asks sellers to email the sales department, so fees and terms are not published. The company's website was online and showing current inventory when we checked. We did not find a listing for TNT on the Better Business Bureau website. As with any dealer, verify the title and VIN, request additional photos and consider an independent inspection before paying.
