Art 'n Motion

Art 'n Motion is a classic and rare car gallery and dealership at 283 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, Florida, just inside the historic entrance to the city. It is owned by a father and son, Paul and Justin Felker, and it does three things under one roof: it sells collector cars, it displays them like an art gallery, and it rents its rooms out as an event venue. Local press coverage puts its opening in 2018, on a lot that once held a new car dealership, and the Florida company behind it was registered a couple of years earlier.

A car gallery built to look a century old

The building is new, but it was designed not to look it. According to the company, the Felkers wanted a structure that would fit the character of the nation's oldest city while standing out the way an old "Main Street" building would, so they had it built in an early 1900s industrial style. The company credits architect Anthony R. Harwell, builder AD Davis Construction and interior designer Parramore Interiors for the result.

It is a two-story brick building of about 18,000 square feet, with exposed ceilings, handcrafted woodwork and floor-to-ceiling windows that face San Marco Avenue, so passing traffic can see the cars inside. One of the upstairs rooms is named after "Elizabeth," which the company describes as the family's first antique car.

Part dealership, part museum

Art 'n Motion was created, in its own words, to display classic and rare automobiles that are available for sale. Many of the cars were collected by the founders, but the company also says other owners often display their own rare cars in the showroom for fellow enthusiasts. In practice that means not every car on the floor is necessarily for sale, so it is worth asking about a specific vehicle before you fall for it.

In a profile in The Ponte Vedra Recorder, Justin Felker described the business as part dealership, part museum and part art gallery, and called classic cars "an art you can interact with." The same article notes that he has worked with a local racing team and that he buys and sells classic and collector cars. The public is welcome to look around, although the company says it prefers visitors to book an appointment for a tour with the founder.

What Art 'n Motion sells

This is a small, curated inventory rather than a large lot. A tourism listing for the business describes a range running from the late 1800s to modern sports cars, plus automotive memorabilia. When we checked the company's inventory page in October 2026, it listed seven cars with a clear lean toward unusual imports:

• a 1965 Volkswagen 21-window Samba bus, which the company says has had a ground-up restoration and a newly built 2,775cc engine
• a 1970 Jaguar XKE, described as fully restored, at $120,000
• a 1965 Toyota Land Cruiser with a factory soft top at $69,750
• a 1966 Alfa Romeo and a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo
• two Japanese collector cars: a 1970 Nissan Z432, which the dealer says was built in only about 420 examples, and a 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R

Several cars carry no published price, so expect to call or email for figures. Older press coverage also mentions a 1907 Cadillac and a 1929 Ford Model A delivery truck at the building, which gives a sense of how far back the collection reaches.

Buying from Art 'n Motion

The website does not publish terms for financing, shipping, trade-ins or third-party inspections, and it does not describe a consignment program. Inquiries go directly to Justin Felker by phone or email, which suits the boutique scale of the place. Events and the Ponte Vedra Auto Show

Much of the building doubles as a venue. The Assembly Room at Art 'n Motion offers five rooms for weddings, parties and business events, including the ground floor Showroom, an upstairs space called The Classic and the Elizabeth Room. The company says most packages include access to a caterers' kitchen and private parking. The venue side is run with House of Assembly Events, a related family business, and the space has also been used for film work: the company says part of a Mercedes G-Wagon commercial was shot there.

Art 'n Motion also runs the Ponte Vedra Auto Show. The show started in 2003 under the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, and Art 'n Motion later took over its operation. The company now presents it with the Chamber and the St. Johns County Tourism Development Council. The 2024 edition at the Nocatee Station Event Field named a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC Best in Show and donated $1,500 to K9s For Warriors. The 2026 show is set for Sunday, November 8, at the same field, with free admission and parking for spectators.

Track record

Art 'n Motion has operated from the same purpose-built location since it opened and has been covered by local press for its role in the regional car scene. We did not find a Better Business Bureau profile for the business, and we have not reported star ratings that we could not see on the review platforms directly. As with any small dealer, judge it on the specific car: confirm the paperwork, get condition promises in writing and inspect before you buy.
