Christopher John Ltd.
Holly Hill Morgan and Caterham dealer with a small pre-owned stock of British classics, plus service and vintage race preparation.
About Christopher John Ltd.
Christopher John Ltd. is a British sports car dealership at 1052 North Beach Street in Holly Hill, on U.S. 1 just north of Daytona Beach. It is best known as the area's authorized Morgan dealer (the Morgan factory's dealer locator lists it as Morgan Daytona Beach) and it is also an authorized Caterham retailer. Alongside the new cars, it keeps a small pre-owned collection that regularly includes British classics from the 1950s and 1960s, and it offers service and vintage race preparation for older British cars.
Father, son and a Morgan franchise
The company announced the opening of its Morgan dealership in a press release published by the British car site Just British in March 2016, with a grand opening and open house held on May 22, 2016, alongside the MOG South Morgan club event. According to that release, the name Christopher John was "born from father and son," and owner Christopher Silvestri traces his interest in English sports cars and vintage racing back to childhood rides in his father's Sunbeam, Alfa and Rover.
The dealership's own site says it brings 25 years of sports car knowledge and historic racing service to the business, and describes its building as mid-century. The company does not publish a founding year for the business as a whole, and its website was already online in 2015, before the Morgan franchise opened.
New cars first, classics alongside
Most of the website is given over to new cars. The current Morgan range shown includes the Supersport, Plus Four and Super 3, and the Caterham range covers the Seven S, Seven R and Seven Cup specifications. The site also lists Ginetta, and the company's About page mentions Crosslé racing cars. In its own words, it will "only sell and work on new and vintage British sports cars."
Buyers looking for something older should check the pre-owned page, which the company calls a curated collection. When we checked in October 2026 it listed a 1954 MG TF roadster described as nicely restored ($49,000), a 1963 Austin-Healey Sprite Mk II showing 58,150 miles ($15,600), a 1954 Morgan Plus 4 four-seater ($35,000), a 1994 MG RV8 imported from Japan ($36,000), and late-model Morgans and a Caterham. The Plus 4 is described by the dealer as one of only three known still on the road, a claim a buyer would want to see supported by documentation. Earlier pages on the site featured a 1967 Triumph TR4, a 1978 Triumph Spitfire and a 1984 Morgan 4/4, so the classic stock is small but tends to stay British.
Buying from Christopher John
All of the pre-owned cars are listed as located in Daytona Beach, which makes an in-person look practical for buyers in Florida and the Southeast. The site does not publish terms for financing, shipping, trade-ins or deposits, so those points need to be settled directly with the dealer. For an older car, ask for the title and VIN, service records and any restoration history, and consider an independent inspection; our guide to buying from a classic car dealer covers the main checks. When the dealership opened in 2016 it said it planned to consign and sell used classic Morgans and select British and European classics, but its current site does not describe a consignment program, so sellers should ask before assuming one exists.
Service and vintage racing
Service is a large part of the business. The Morgan locator lists sales, service by factory-trained technicians and genuine parts, and the Caterham listing adds servicing, parts and test drives. The company's own description leans on its racing work: it says it has built winning engines and prepared a range of competition cars, with experience on Weber and S.U. carburetion, Triumph and Ford engines (pushrod and twin-cam), and safety preparation for vintage racers. The site also sells Suixtil driving apparel, for which it says it is the official US distributor, and Morris Lubricants, for which it is an official reseller.
Reputation
We did not find a Better Business Bureau profile for the business. A Birdeye page that collects public reviews showed a 5.0 rating from 22 reviews (17 from Google and 5 from Facebook) when we checked in October 2026; reviewers there mostly comment on service work and knowledge of Morgans. That is a small sample, so buyers should still judge each car on its own paperwork and condition. The dealer previously listed cars on ClassicCars.com, but its page there no longer shows inventory.
