About Classic Dreamcars, Inc.

Classic Dreamcars, Inc. is a small, owner-run classic car dealer in Eustis, in Lake County northwest of Orlando. For nearly two decades it was best known as the dealership inside the Mount Dora Museum of Speed, an Art Deco building filled with cars and automobilia. The museum closed and its building was sold in 2019, and the dealership moved to a showroom at 2750 Dillard Road, Suite 5, in Eustis, where it now sells a much smaller selection by appointment. Buyers who remember the Mount Dora address should note the move.

From the Palm Beaches to Mount Dora to Eustis

State corporate records show Classic Dreamcars, Inc. was incorporated in Florida in June 1990, and the company's site says it has held a dealer license since that year. A 2019 article in the ClassicCars.com Journal dates the business to 1989 in the Palm Beaches and says it worked from four locations before Mount Dora. According to the company, owner Kerry M. Bogard moved to Central Florida and opened in Mount Dora in August 2001, in a museum building he built himself.

The same Journal article reported in June 2019 that the Museum of Speed had closed after 19 years, that Bogard, then 75, was stepping back, and that the collection was being sold while the dealership continued at a new location. The company's site now says the museum and dealership moved to Eustis "as my building was sold and I semi-retired," and that the selection "has decreased from 30 to....fewer." State filings list the Eustis address from October 2019, and annual reports are current through 2026.

How the business works

Classic Dreamcars sells its own cars. Its site states plainly that it is "not a consignment shop." The stated specialty is unusual, original, ultra-low-mileage, well-optioned and documented cars, both American and foreign, plus "professional cars," the trade term for hearses and flower cars, which the Journal says the company added during the recession. Some cars are kept on display for months or years before they are sold.

For buyers hunting a particular model, the company runs a search and find service. It keeps a log of customer wants, but says it offers the search only to regular or qualified customers who are ready to buy and willing to commit with a deposit, and that it does not do this for free. The company also says it is always looking to buy mint or ultra-low-mileage classics.

What is for sale

Stock is small. In October 2026 the company's inventory page showed a 1939 Ford Standard woody wagon ($95,000), a 1961 Jaguar Mk IX saloon ($78,500) that the dealer says it sold once before from its museum in 2014, a 1947 Floyd Trevis full midget race car with a Ford flathead ($27,500 or best offer), a non-running 1950 German driver's education teaching model, and a custom 2024 Toyota Tacoma. Several other cars on the page, including a Ferrari 575M and a 2022 Corvette, were already marked sold. Recent sales listed on the site include a 1962 Cadillac Superior side-loading hearse that went to California and a 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S cabriolet sold to Colorado.

Buying from Classic Dreamcars

Visits are by appointment only, and the company says it does not accept credit cards for vehicle purchases, so plan payment by other means. Its transport page says it recommends enclosed shipping, works with nationally recognized carriers, uses single-car haulers within Florida, and ships overseas through bonded agents. No financing or inspection program is published. The company's own acquisition page warns that trim tags, colors and even VIN plates can be altered, which is good reason to read up on what to check before you buy and to bring an independent inspector to any car where originality is part of the price.

Reputation

The business has more than three decades of continuous state registration, and the Journal reported that the former museum earned six TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence. Those awards were for the museum, not for car sales. We did not find a Better Business Bureau profile, and we did not see a current review rating for the Eustis location. The company's site posts a selection of customer letters, which are the company's own choice of feedback.
